ITC 308 WiFi - not reading temp correctly or connecting to WFi

My unit has lost connection to WFi and won’t reconnect and, it is not reading tje temperature correctly. The last couple of days it has been alarming to say it is over temp (just put this down to tje high ambient temt for the last couple of afternoons) however, checked ot this morning and it told me that tje tank temp was 118 F !! Put a standard thermometer in and that read 74F.

The unit is only a couple of years old, any ideas what is going on and how to fix ot?

Hello,
If the ITC-308-WIFI connection is disconnected, please make sure you are using the latest version of the INKBIRD app. Perhaps you can refer to the slow flash mode steps in this post to reconnect the device?

If the reading of the ITC-308-WIFI is very off, please clean it with a clean damp cloth and blow it dry with a hair dryer. After drying, please test it in the air to see if its reading will improve?
If its reading deviation is within the range of -15F~15F, it can be calibrated through the calibration function.
If its reading deviation is still beyond this range, please provide the order information and the link to this post to the email support@inkbird.com.
