What does the heating hysteresis setting do on Inkbird ITC-308 WIFI

What does the heating hysteresis setting do on Inkbird ITC-308 WIFI, likewise what does the cooling back temperature setting do.

On the 3 Inkbird ITC-308 WIFI devices I have, one of them I can set both heating and cooling to 0.5 deg C. But the other 2 devices seems to accept 0.5 deg C as the setting, but it changes both back to 1 deg C.

Why is there a 0.3 setting, when I cannot seem to select it?

Any ideas please.

Hello,
For more information on how the ITC-308-WIFI works, please refer to.

If its settings cannot be saved, please ensure that the ITC-308-WIFI remains connected to the network. Please provide the app you are using and a video of the problem to support@inkbird.com.

For some reason I have been using Inkbird Smart v 1.0.7

Just installed Inkbird Pro v3.3.14

Still have the same problem 1 device can store 0.3 as the hysterisis, the other 2 devices will only store 1 as the hysterisis

It seems I am having to leave it running for at least a day, for the process value to stabilise, i am now getting plus and minus 1.5 deg C (3 deg C total)

Please use the INKBIRD app, which is based on the Inkbird smart app and the Inkbird pro app upgrade.
If it still has problems, please provide the device ID of the ITC-308-WIFI (it can be viewed via the app - ITC-308-WIFI - more in the top right corner) and a video of the problem to support@inkbird.com.

I have found the answer to my problem.

When you have changed the settings, it does change the settings ‘live’.

So I have been using the back button on android (bottom right). If you select the back button on app (top left) it saves the changes.

still only getting plus and minus 1.5 deg C (3 deg C total)
