ITC308 can’t get the temperature required to hold

Hi we have a tortoise and got a tubular heater linked to the ITC308 WiFi to try and maintain a set temperature overnight. We want 13 degC and have set on the thermostat and also in the app but the temp drops below and the heater doesn’t seem to kick in. Says it’s in cooling mode … we want heating! Really can’t seem to work out what to do … how do you set this so it kicks in with heat when needed? Any help appreciated

Hello,
Before using the ITC-308-WIFI, please quickly check the following:

1. Does the heater automatically turn on and heat to the target temperature after being powered on? Please understand that the actual heating temperature is determined by the heater itself.

2. Does the heater have a built-in temperature controller? Please understand that this may affect the control of the ITC-308-WIFI.

3. The heater’s power is within the range of 100-240V, 10A.

Regarding the ITC-308-WIFI, please also check if its settings are correct.

ITC-308WIFI has a special temperature mode and a normal temperature mode. The trigger conditions for the special temperature mode are: Enter the setting mode through the SET key then exit. Enter the setting mode through the app then exit.
