Int 11p- b false reading?

I find the ambient temp is a lot lower than it should be and the probe temp is higher and also the probe is getting to temperature much faster then any cooking guidelines! what’s the chance I have a faulty probe and what is the best way of checking this?

Hello,
Perhaps you could test if the INT-11P-B reads correctly at room temp?
If correct, please extend the measurement time while cooking.
Since the meat is absorbing heat during the pre-cooking period, the ambient temperature around the meat will be lower. Please cook for a longer time. When the temperature of the meat stabilises, will the ambient probe readings tend to be accurate?
Please make sure the meat probe is fully inserted into the meat and reaches the scale, otherwise it may be affected by the oven temperature.
