IHC200 Er condition

Have the IHC200, purchased June 25 2023 through Amazon, that had the High Humidify alarm sound after water was accidently sprayed on the sensor. and then displayed Er was displayed when a button was pushed to turn off the alarm. Have tried unplugging the unit and pushing the set button, but no change. I have removed the sensor from the case in the hope that is the issue, but again after a n hour, no change and I still have the error condition.

This unit controls an orchidarium, so only the sensor is in inside the case.

The IHC-200’s probe is not waterproof, please dry it with a dry rag and let it dry for 1-2 days. Can it work?

Yes. After drying out, The Error condition cleared. I was thankful to see it.
