My IHC-200 maxes out on the humidity when it hits 89.3% rh and it never reports anything higher (when its mid 90s). Its solid on 89.3% rh and doesnt vary. The room humidity is 42%.

Could you please clean the probe and cable, then use a hairdryer to dry the entire unit for a while, then test the probe in the air, can it read correctly?

Thanks for your reply. I actually was in the process of doing that when you replied and it seemed to work. But it worked too well as the unit started recording 103% humidity.

It is in a very humid environment but I doubt it is over 99% rh.

24 hrs ago i put the sensor in a sealed bag with a vessel containing a salt and water slurry to try and calibrate it to 75%. Its holding steady at 75% after calibration so I will move the sensor back to its original sensing location to see what I get.

Sensors have been calibrated and returned to their high humidity locations and are reading in the mid to high 90’s as expected.
