Please understand that the app supported by IBT-4XS is ‘BBQ GO’ app, it is not the ‘INKBIRD’ app.
Please use the ‘BBQ GO’ app.
When connecting, please turn on the Bluetooth and location permissions of the phone, and make sure that the permissions of app in the phone settings are all agreed.
Is IBT-4XS B still not compatible with INKBIRD app? The BBQ app is a total disappointment, especially when coming from the INKBIRD app, which I use with other products. Could you at least improve the BBQ app to match the wood the INKBIRD up, or even better, upgrade the Inkbird app to be able to connect to IBT-4XS B?

, but due to the hardware limitations of the IBT-4XS, the current version only supports connection to the BBQ GO app.
An IBT-4XS version supporting the INKBIRD app is still in the planning stages, and there is no specific production timeline at present.
