I have an IBT-2X that I am trying to connect to the new InkBird app. Unfortunately when I turn on the device there is no Bluetooth icon showing only the probe temp. Without the Bluetooth icon showing it does not appear possible to connect to the app. Please advise a remedy.

Please understand that the app supported by IBT-2X is called ‘BBQ GO’ app, it is not the ‘INKBIRD’ app.
Please use the ‘BBQ GO’ app, does it connect?
When connecting, please turn on the Bluetooth and location permissions of the phone, and make sure that the permissions of app in the phone settings are all agreed.
I removed the BBQ Go app because I bough an addtional temperature probe that uses the InkBird App. In the InkBird app the IBT-2X is specifially in the list of devices that can be added to the app. The problem with my unit is that the Bluetooth icon does not show up on the device when I start it up. It should be flashing on and off when I start the unit, then goes to solid when connected. If the bluetooth icon is not showing up, nothing will connect to it.
Sorry, the INKBIRD app-supported version of the IBT-2X has not yet been produced.
The current app supported by the IBT-2X model is the BBQ GO app.
