I’ve purchased IBT 2X because it’s listed as a compatible device on my Inkbir app. However, the app can’t find it. Is it only compatible with BBQ GO? If yes: why it’s listed in the other app? Are there plans to add support?

Yes, the IBT-2X model supports the BBQ GO app. Due to certain technical limitations, it cannot be switched to the INKBIRD app.
The IBT-2X model listed in the INKBIRD app is a product slated for adjustment and production, but sorry, there is no specific release date available at present.
