Need some help. I have 7 of these units in use currently all on different aquariums which until recently were operating trouble free. Received alert that temp was low in one tank which uses 1 300W Eheim and 1 300w BRS titanium heater. The light on the Inkbird showed outlets were on, BRS was hot to the touch, but the Eheim light was out. Replaced heater with exact same model but problem remained, Purchased new Inkbird but problem remains. Plugged Eheim into wall outlet and the heater turned on, Adjusted The heater temp and placed it in the tank which brought the tank temp to desired temp. Plugged same heater back into Inkbird and the heater will not turn on and water temp falls below T1 setting. I have as well performed the test steps which show no issues. T1 is set at 76 degrees, T2 is set at 80 degrees, with the tank temp at 78 degrees. So with all new equipment the same problem remains which started this whole thing.
Hello,
Are you referring to ITC-306A triggering the AL alarm?
Could you provide the setting value of AL?
Just to confirm, the total power of the two heaters is 600W?
According to the ITC-306A settings, if the temperature reaches or below 76F, it will turn on the heating output, and when the temperature reaches 80F, it will turn off the heating output. But please note that the heating output will not turn on when the temperature drops from 80F to 76F.
Maybe you can use other low-power devices, such as desk lamps and fans, to test? Will the ITC-306A work when the temperature is below 76F and the work indicator of the ITC-306A is on?

(The BRS Titanium heater did and continues to works in both outlets. The problem only occurs with Eheim heaters. I tried the old 300W, the new 300w, a back up 150W from another tank, and a Eheim heater from another tank in service currently using a ITC-306A. None worked)
Sorry, this situation is a bit strange .
The ITC-306A switches outputs based on temperature readings and settings, it does not recognize plugged-in devices.
If the BRS Titanium heater can work properly on both outputs, the outputs of the ITC-306A should be fine.
The hardware configuration of ITC-306A is the same. Theoretically, it works with heaters supported by older versions.
But paradoxically, these Eheim heaters can work with the old 6 ITC-306A? But not able to work with the new ITC-306A?
I’ll try to discuss this with the engineers. If you have any speculations or ideas, please feel free to let me know.
Thanks.
