I really love using my Inkbird ITC-308 WiFi temperature controller. It works great and the temperature history graph is already very useful.
One feature I would really appreciate is relay state/history in the temperature graph.
Right now the graph shows the measured temperature clearly, but it is hard to tell whether a temperature drop is caused by active cooling, active heating, or just passive temperature change. It would be extremely useful if the graph could show the relay state over time, for example:
- Blue: cooling relay active
- Orange: heating relay active
- Grey: passive/no relay active
This would make the history view much more useful for people using the controller with fridges, freezers, fermentation chambers, keezers, or similar setups. It would also help estimate compressor runtime, understand energy usage, and see how well the system is performing.
Another small improvement would be making it easier to zoom and inspect the edges of the graph on mobile. It can be difficult to zoom in near the start or end of the timeline, especially on a phone screen.
Thanks for making a great product. These features would make it even better. Perhaps they could be added to the new UI version?
