Should IBS-TH2 temp sensor take hours to reach actual temp?

Hi. My IBS-TH2 sensor takes over an hour to reach the actual temperature. eg. if it is stable and reading 30 degrees in a room of 30 degrees, and I move it to a room of 12 degrees, it typically takes hours to get there. What is with that?

Hello,
The IBS-TH2 focuses on recording stable data and small changes.
If it is placed in an environment with large temperature variations, it will take time to update.
Perhaps this is the reason that led to this situation.

Thanks for the info Tania. Is there some spec for that? eg. maximum rate of change it can do.

Is there any way to tweak that operation?
