My favorite dish in winter - sous vide Guinness Beef Stew

Love to have some warm food in winter.
Since I get the INKBIRD sous vide cooker and I always find some recipes about it. Luckily that I found my pick which I often choose in a frequented restaurant - Guinness Beef Stew. It’s savory and unforgettable.
The snow is quickly coming this year, and I prepare some food that I can easily do in the winter.
For the recipe, we should prepare

  • chuck roast
  • baby carrots
  • minced garlic
  • Guinness beer (love its distinctive flavor
  • pearl onions
  • tomato paste/tomato
  • frozen corn
  • bay leaves
  • flour
  • beef stock (it’s better to have but not required)

Use a vacuum bag to protect the chuck roast and control the sous vide to 185F and set 24 h to cook it. Before that, season the beef with salt and pepper, make it whole or cut it into cubes.
Saute the baby carrots, pearl onions, minced garlic, tomato for a few minutes, put in the flour, and stir to coat all the things in the pan.
When the beef is done, add it together and the beer to the pan and bring it to a simmer.
That’s how it does, simply with a sous vide to cook the beef.
Enjoy it and warm the body in the cold winter, not a bad choice to have a try!
