Hi, my ITC608T stopped controlling the humidity this morning. Now my reptifogger is on at all times raising my reptile’s cage to 100% humidity. It worked fine for two years and today stopped controlling just the humidity without any reprogramming. How do I troubleshoot and what am I looking for?
Hello,
If only one humidity probe is inserted into the ITC-608T, and the humidifier is plugged into work1, please refer to the following troubleshooting steps:
Just in case, please check the humidifier’s power rating:
ITC-608T models support 120V AC, 15A, 1800W max.
Humidifier wattage must match the ITC-608T’s output.
If the humidifier’s power is within the range, please refer to the following testing method:
Ensure the humidifier is properly connected to the ITC-608T work 1.
- Unplug the controller.
- Hold the ‘SET’ button
- Plug the controller to power on, then release the ‘SET’ button
- Quickly press the ‘down’ button, please do not press the ‘up’ button. The work 2 indicator light and work 2 output will be on. Is the humidifier working?
What should happen:
When the work 2 indicator light is on, the work 1 output will not work.
If work1 is still working, please provide your order information and the problem to email support@inkbird.com for after-sales service.
