ISV-300W materials used

I had a isv-300w replaced with a new one due to screen issue. When closely inspecting the faulty unit, I noticed that the screen part has loosen due to failed adhesive. Upon opening the screen, I noticed that the frame holding the lcd has disintegrated and all the screw posts crumbled. This probably resulted in the faulty screen due to incorrect pressure on the lcd zebra strip.

Inkbird should do more tests on their products and the materials used to build the products. Inkbird should also consider selling replacement frames for the screen. Internally, the rest of the parts seems ok except for the potting compound at the power cord that is showing signs of melting or disintegrating.

This post is not to put down Inkbird, I like your products and hope my feedback can help improve the quality of your product.

Hello,
Thanks for your feedback :rose:.
I’ll pass it on to the engineering team.
