Inkbird ITC-308 (not with WiFi) will not stop the freezer when temp is met

So I have an inkbird that has been working for a year, but periodically it will give me some issues.

I use it for a freezer that i stop the temp at 36 degrees Fahrenheit. The inkbird broadens the range since the settings on the freezer won’t allow it to be set higher than 5 degrees.

It has been working great for most of the year but now it’s not stopping the freezer when the pre-set temp of 36 is met. It keeps freezing, which means all content inside freezes

When the freezer is above temp the green cooling light is on, but when it drops below the pre-set temp the heating light is red. So it recognizes it is past it’s setting but still doesn’t turn off the freezer.

Please advise

Hello,
Could you please let me know the voltage and watt of the freezer?
Please test:

  1. Unplug the controller
  2. Hold the SET button. please don’t release it until the power is on.
  3. Power on the controller, then release the SET button.
  4. Within 2 seconds, press the ‘up’ button, please do not press the ‘down’ button. It will turn on the heating outlet, the heating indicator light on, is the freezer turned on?

This is a test mode, it can check if there is a problem with the cooling outlet.
