Pairing With MOES BlueTooth Smart Gateway.

To put an Inkbird IBS-TH2 Plus into pairing mode for a Moes Bluetooth Gateway, you need to activate pairing mode on the Inkbird sensor itself by holding down the designated pairing button (usually a small button on the device) for a few seconds while simultaneously searching for new devices on your Moes app; the exact process may vary slightly depending on the specific Moes gateway model and Inkbird app version.

Key steps:

  • Open the Moes App:

Launch the Moes app on your phone and navigate to the device addition section.

  • Put Inkbird into pairing mode:

    • Locate the pairing button: Find the small pairing button on the Inkbird IBS-TH2 Plus sensor.

    • Press and hold: Press and hold the pairing button for a few seconds until the sensor starts flashing or indicates it’s in pairing mode.

  • Search for devices:

On the Moes app, start searching for new Bluetooth devices.

  • Select the Inkbird sensor:

When the app detects the Inkbird sensor, select it from the list and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.

Important points to consider:

  • Bluetooth range: Ensure your phone is within Bluetooth range of the Inkbird sensor.
  • App updates: Make sure you have the latest version of the Moes app installed.
  • Device compatibility: Check if your specific Moes Bluetooth gateway model is compatible with the Inkbird IBS-TH2 Plus sensor.

Tried using these Instructions but FIRSTLY How DO YOU ACTUALLY PUT IBS-TH2 PLUS Sensor into PAIRING MODE, to get LED to FLASH.
Holding Button Down for longer 10 secs, – DOES NOT GET any Response other than RESET the T&H Sensor back to Factory setting.

Tried several times, Removing Batteries, wait a few mins. Reinsert Batteries, Hold Down Button on side of Sensor, Never see any “LED start Flashing”, as Described in Notes Above. I am Assuming a “BLUE LED is on Front just above the Display”, used for Pairing T & H Sensor.

Sensors ALL Work Perfectly with InkBird App or EngBird App, Connected to IBS-M2 WiFi GATEWAY. For about a Year Now, with 4 IBS-TH2 Plus Sensors Working, Logging Data.
Just purchased 2 more IBS-TH2 Plus with both Temp & Humidity Probes, connected them to Inkbird Gateway perfectly.

But pairing method on IBS-M2 Gateway Works in reverse, where the Gateway is Setup on Wifi first, then you can add Sensors one @ time. by using ADD Device on Latest InkBird APP installed on my Android Devices Samsung Tablet & Phone.
ALL WORKING CORRECTLY. Each Sensor is Sending Out a BLE Signal for the InkBird Gateway, which in pairing mode searches & finds ALL Sensors, Recognised , then you Setup and Configure each Sensor. ALL GOOD.

But MOES Bluetooth Smart Gateway, require Sensor to be Placed in Pairing Mode (reversing the process that Inkbird use to Add Sensors.

So Any Ideas would be appreciated.
