What are the exact steps to perform an automatic or manual calibration of the IAM-T1 CO2 monitor? There are no instructions included in the box, or in the app. I do not own scientific reference equipment to use for comparison.
Hello,
IAM-T1 is factory calibrated. Under normal circumstances, its calibration function does not need to be adjusted.
IAM-T1 has automatic calibration and manual calibration.
Automatic calibration includes CO2 automatic calibration and CO2 factory reset.
If the ‘auto calibration’ function is turned on, please place the device in an environment with good air circulation and no one around, and leave it for at least 7 days for calibration.
If the ‘factory CO2 calibration’ function is turned on, please place the device in an environment with good air circulation and no one around, and leave it for at least 15 minutes for calibration.
Manual calibration includes CO2 manual calibration, temperature manual calibration and humidity manual calibration. This requires reference to other instruments with accurate readings. For example, if the temperature reading of IAM-T1 is 1 degree higher than the actual temperature, please set the temperature calibration value to -1. If the temperature reading is 2 degrees lower than the actual temperature, please set the temperature calibration value to 2.
Hello Tania,
i hope, it is wrong, thar the Sensor needs 7 days in well ventilated area for autocalibration.
I think it should mean, that the sensor has to be at least some hours at ventilated area minimum every 7 day, or ?
Else, the automatic calibration makes no sense, when the manual calibration only takes 15 minutes at fresh air !?
