I’m trying to reset my co2 monitor sensor, when I try the “Factory reset CO2 accuracy” button nothing happens. I left my device on the balcony for 2 hours and readings are still high. I think that there is a bug on this button as nothing happens.
I have another device next to it that shows co2 levels way below the IAM-T1.
Hello,
Could I know if the auto-calibration function is disabled at this time?
It’s not recommended to run both factory calibration and auto-calibration simultaneously.
If auto-calibration is enabled, please disable it. Then, place the device in a well-ventilated, unoccupied area and enable factory calibration. The measurement should take approximately one day.
If the readings still show significant deviations, please enable auto-calibration in a well-ventilated, unoccupied area. However, please note that the measurement should take approximately seven days.
If the reading is correct, please turn off the automatic calibration function. Otherwise, it will still calibrate in the new environment, which may cause the device reading to deviate again.
I left the device for 12 days outside with auto calibration ON and now it shows 420 as the lowest reading.
When I was trying factory co2 reset I tried with and without auto calibration ON. I heard 3 bips when pressing factory reset but readings would stay the same and elevated.
Auto calibration did work but it took a very long time to show results.
I don’t know why my device drifted so far from the initial settings in the first place. Auto calibration was on OFF since I bought it.
Thank you for sharing . I’m sorry, I also have no clue about the reading deviation issue at the moment. Normally, the equipment is inspected before leaving the factory. But I will give this feedback to the production team to remind them to strengthen the inspection.
