My inkbird IBBQ-4T does not get a dark background (like in the photos in the Amazon reviews) with my Iphone 15. The home screen reads in C while inside the kettle the temps are in F (which I want). My weather app also reads in C instead of F. When I clear the alarm on my phone it does not repeat the alarm when the grill temps are out of the set range. However the sending unit does. My phone is up to date in all software and all notifications for the inkbird are turned on. Are others experiencing this?

May I know when you purchased the product?
If you want to change the temperature unit on the INKBIRD app homepage, please change it via INKBIRD - ME - Profile - temperature unit.
Due to the limitations of the IOS system, the INKBIRD appâs push alarms follow the default ringtone, so it will only sound an alarm once. Please understand that this feature has been included in the improvement plan by the engineers.
That option corrected the temperature unit. I would still like to have the dark background.

âDark backgroundâ we get that option !? I aint got it. I have a INT-11P-B recently purchashed from Inkbird.com. I AINT GOT NO DARKSCREEN.

Please click the settings icon in the upper right corner of IBBQ-4T, please pull down the settings page, is there a dark mode option?
Regarding the time format, it can also be changed in the settings page.

I returned my IBBQ-4T to amazon for a ânewâ one for the dark mode feature (July 10, 2024). The seller is just selling old stock and my new one doesnât have dark mode either. I am very disappointed.

@Houseman9 ha ha ha so did I. I did that with my gopro10s too. It may not be âold stockâ as much as it may be bootleg . Ya never know. But u could b right because the gopros i bought from gopro may or may not be new stock but i certainly havenât had any problems with them. Same with the two inkbird INT-11P-Bâs I bought from Inkbird, no problems at all but the ones from amazon kept locking up or couldnât connect or,the biggest problem was 1/2 way thru cooking the thing dissconnected and I couldnât re connect. itâs really hard to do a reset of the probe when its like 250°f and they want u to stick it back in the PLASTIC case. Time is a factor when cooking so to wait until the probe has cooled down enough to insert back in box to reset it isnât realistic. So Iâm jumping thru hoops trying to figure out what to do while the steaks are burnin away. as u can tell that really pissed me off. especially I was boasting about these probes to my friends and they fail right in front of them. Lol wtf!
So anyway since I got them right from Inkbird, that hasnât happened yet..
Good luck. Just got a message from ink bird saying âDARK MODEâ is not available for IOS, only android works with that feature. I will give them credit for the response, just wish I had known this before placing my order.
I have communicated with the engineers and they plan to update the dark mode of iOS in the next 1~2 versions.

Sorry, there is no internal update push for the INKBIRD app.
If the automatic software update function is turned on on your phone, the INKBIRD app will automatically update when an update is available.
If this function is updated, I will also let you know here .
