I cant use the app because we only have 5ghz. I oniy get the choice of channel 0. The CH button doesn’t do anything. How donI add my pool thermostat witbout the app?

Sorry, the IBS-M2 requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection to the INKBIRD app before sub-devices can connect.
Perhaps you can take it to an area with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, or if you have two phones, please try the following steps to connect:

Turn on your phone A’s hotspot; it will act as a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi router. Place phone A next to the product.

Use phone B to connect to phone A’s hotspot and download the INKBIRD app.

Follow the app’s instructions to connect phone B to the IBS-M2.
After successfully connecting the IBS-M2, please go to the INKBIRD app → IBS-M2 Settings → click the ‘+’ in the upper right corner.
Please note: Sub-devices cannot be added directly via the ‘+’ in the upper right corner of the INKBIRD app homepage. They must be added after entering the IBS-M2 settings page.
