Temperature Probe for ITH020R-0?

Does the Inkbird Temperature Probe for ITC-608T work with an ITH-20R-0? If not what is the part number of the correct temperature probe

Hello,
Please refer to this link:

Please understand that the probe of ITC-608T is not compatible with ITH-20R-O.

Thanks for that info. What probe is compatible with the
ITH-20R-O. It appears to have a place to insert a probe. Or is that simply a hole in the case with no receptacle. If so that is very disappointing to say the least.

Please check out this link. It is an external temperature probe that can be plugged into the IBS-TH1, IBS-TH1 PLUS, ITH-20R-O

Thanks for getting back to me. However, what I have is an ITH-20R-0. The -0 version will not accept a remote probe. It has a hole in the case that looks like it will accept a probe, however, there is no jack in the unit, just an empty hole (very frustrating).

Many of your product descriptions are misleading at best. Each product should list what other products they work with. Things like Bluetooth only, Wify only, Bluetooth and wifi, what gateway, etc. It seems to that any product that ends on a -0 works with limited options.

Do you have a temperature sensor, with an internal sensor and a remote sensor, that will use wifi to communicate with a IBS-M1 gateway? Bluetooth is a bit too limited.

Sorry, I’m a bit confused, there is only one model of ITH-20R-O, I assume we are talking about the same thing?
There is a probe socket on the bottom of the ITH-20R-O, which can be used to plug in an external temperature probe.

Perhaps you can provide a photo of the ‘empty hole’?
The ones ending in ‘-O’ are generally used with receivers/gateways.
The sensor models supported by IBS-M1 are: IBS-TH1, IBS-TH1 Mini, IBS-TH1 Plus, IBS-P01B, ITH-20R-O, IBS-P01R-O, IBS-P02R-O
Please understand that the role of the gateway is to connect Bluetooth sensors or RF sensors to achieve the function of WIFI connection.
For example, if you are using ITH-20R-O, it can connect to the IBS-M1 gateway via RF, and the IBS-M1 gateway connects to the INKBIRD app via 2.4GHz wifi. This allows remote viewing of ITH-20R-O data via the INKBIRD app.

You are right that there is a jack for the external probe. I opened it up to check. I assumed there was no jack as nothing changed when I plugged in a probe from one of my IBS-TH2 Pluss sensors.

My configuration is:
1 IBS M2 Gateway

The external temperature probe models compatible with ITH-20R-O are IBS-TH1 or IBS-TH1 PLUS external probes.
The external probe of IBS-TH2 PLUS is not compatible with them. This may be the reason why ITH-20R-O does not respond.
The sensor models supported by IBS-M2 gateway are: IBS-TH1, IBS-TH2, IBS-TH2 PLUS, IBS-P01B, ITH-20R-O, IBS-P01R-O, IRS-WD1, ITH-12S, IBS-P02R-O.
