I’m trying to ask about the communication path used for the device inkbird ibs th3 wifi plus when I monitor the device from my mobile phone while I am outside the company network (for example, when I am at home).

Specifically, could you please confirm:

  1. Does the mobile app communicate with the device directly through our company network, or

  2. Does the app communicate through Inkbird cloud servers?

I just need to ensure the device and APP are safe to connect to my company Wi-Fi.

Hello,
The WIFI product will upload the data to a cloud via wifi, the cloud is connected to the app, then you can use the mobile network to see the temperature via app.
So it is: WIFI product (connected to 2.4GHz wifi router) → app (cloud) ← phone (wifi/ mobile network).
