I have a C236T that I am using with the app. I have it plugged into an electric heater to keep my water room above freezing in the winter at the cottage. I have it set to come on at 8C and off at 15C, with notifications for extreme temperatures below 3C or above 40C. With these settings, it is sending me notifications every time the heater turns on and off, not just when the extremes are hit. How do I set it to just get notifications when the extremes are hit? Thanks!
I have the exact same problem! I can’t see a way to differentiate between high/low temp alarms, which are very important for me to recieve, and routine power on/off events. The unit powers on and off every few minutes so its very annoying to get all of those alerts.
If there is not a way to do this I’ll need to return this device.
Thanks! I have just turned off notifications altogether. It is very annoying to be notified when it goes on and off. I only care if the extremes are breached, which means that the heater did not turn on.
