Hi, I have a thermostat setup for my pet reptile. And have the probes for it setup on the heating side reading the vertical positions just above and below each other. I keep getting an E4 alarm about an abnormal difference reading between the probes. I was hoping to configure the parameters so there is a larger gap before an alarm triggers but I couldnt seem to find a setting for that.

Anyone know if there is a way to change that? Thanks!

Hello,
E4 means the temperature difference between 2 probes is bigger than 3℃/5℉. It cannot be changed.
Perhaps you could adjust the two probes to be placed side by side? The ITC-306A dual probe is designed to detect potential probe malfunctions in a timely manner, rather than to detect the temperature at two locations.
