Inkbird Wireless Pool Thermometer & IBIS-M2 WIFI GATEWAY Issues

Hello,

I have receive yesterday the above product for my swimming pool. I have set it up and start working normally without any issues. After 7 hours of operation the IBS-P02R with the application on the phone (Status: Offline) but it was showing the battery signal and on the IBS-M2 screen inside the house it wasn’t showing the temperature on the pool.

I have checked the IBS-PO2R that it was inside the pool and the temperature it was shown but not transmitted to the IBS-M2. After removing the IBS-PO2R from the pool and place it next to the IBS-M2 it starts showing. But it didn’t transmit the temperature of the hours that there was no connection???

Question 1: The IBS-PO2R is connecting wifi to the IBS-M2 directly or via the wifi of the house?
Question 2: The distance to the specifications of the product is very big on the distance between the IBS-M2 is very small.
Question 3: When is losing connection (e.g 6 hours) those 6 hours after establishing the connection back are not showing to the report the temperature in order to have comparison?
Question 4: And lastly the IBS-M2 it cannot work standalone without the USB connection? It was connected for 1 full day but after removing the USB connection the display goes OFF.

If you can review the above issues and revert back to me it will be really appreciated.

Thanks,

Christos

Hello,
The IBS-P02R-O transmitter is directly connected to the IBS-M2 via radio frequency. Please check if the cover of the IBS-P02R-O is blocked, and if there are any obstacles such as doors/walls/windows between it and the IBS-M2? Please understand that these factors will affect the connection distance.
If the connection between them is disconnected, the IBS-M2 cannot obtain the readings of the IBS-P02R-O, the data during this period will not be recorded.
Since the IBS-M2 does not have a built-in battery, it needs to remain connected to the power supply to work.
