IIC-400WiFi Sprinkler Controller

When I measure the output voltage at terminals “M” and “C,” I already get 2.7 VAC when the system is off; when a zone is turned on, it’s 30 V. This means that my connected relay is always energized, even though it hasn’t actually engaged yet. Is this normal?

Thank you very much.

Hello,
Perhaps you could connect a 24VAC, 1A solenoid valve for testing (please ensure the voltage is correct; it cannot be 24VDC/9V/110V/220V, etc.)? If using a master valve, please ensure the total current of the master valve + solenoid valve does not exceed 1A. Considering the possibility of inrush current, it’s better to limit it to within 0.8A.
Because using a multimeter may produce false voltage readings, it is recommended to rely on the solenoid valve’s actual performance.

Also, please ensure the IIC-400-WIFI wiring is correct.
