IBS-TH1 Plus vs IBS-TH2 Plus

I’m lookingnto get a wireless gateway (IBS-M2) and some additional Tenp/humidity sensors to connect to it.

I currently have an IBS-TH1 Plus and wanted to know what the differences between theTH1 Plus and TH2 Plus are.

There are problems with their sensors and customer service isn’t responding properly when you complain about it. You might want to reconsider Inkbird for now until they solve their problems.

Hello,
The basic functions of IBS-TH1 PLUS and IBS-TH2 PLUS are the same.
The IBS-TH1 PLUS supports the connection of an external temperature probe.
IBS-TH2 PLUS supports connection of an external temperature probe, or an external temperature and humidity probe.

The IBS-TH2 Plus sensors appear to suffer from extreme battery drain. But the IBS-TH1 Plus… I have several that have been running perfectly for about 3-4 years. I only need to change the batteries about once per year.

I had no issues with any of my Inkbird sensors from approximately 2020 until my most recent purchases, starting in April of this year. Hello, May I know what the ambient temperature is for placing the IBS-TH2 PLUS? Will it also drain within 1 week if tested with fresh alkaline batteries?
