The app can’t see the device. It connected fine when i first got it but disconnected a few months later and now the app does the search but cant see it. Ive changed the batteries, got it sitting next to me, i don’t know what else to try. Using Android. Any advice? TIA.

If there is an offline IBS-P01B in the app, please delete it and reconnect.
When connecting, please make sure that the Bluetooth and location functions of the phone are turned on.
Please make sure that there is no water inside the IBS-P01B.
May I know whether the app you are using is the INKBIRD app or the Engbird app? If you change the app, can it connect successfully?

No there was no offline device, i also have a ITC-308-WIFI which is connected fine in the inkbird app.
Yes Bluetooth and location are on.
No water inside… It hasn’t been in the pool for 6 months, but the lcd screen is reading correctly.
I was using the inkbird app but have downloaded the engbird app and it does connect to engbird!.. But engbird doesn’t connect to the ITC-308-WIFI, and i would like to get more inkbird devices but would much prefer to only have to use the inkbird app.
Please can you also tell me if there is a way to set temperature on the inkbird app for ITC-308-WIFI? It seems i can only set it on the device itself, which kind of makes it not so smart…

If IBS-P01B can successfully connect to Engbird app, it means its Bluetooth function is normal.
Maybe you can reconnect to INKBIRD app and test it after 1-2 days? Not sure if some unknown error is causing this issue.
Also, please make sure the INKBIRD app is the latest version.
Regarding ITC-308-WIFI, may I know which setting you are referring to? Is it SV?
