IBBQ-4T for the oven?

I’m about to slow cook some lamb meat, finally in the oven today… My oven does not have a connection from the outside for the probes of my IBBQ-4T.

If I run the oven at 80°C, is it safe to put the thermometer itself inside the oven or is that too hot already? I could not find any specs in the instruction set, only that “it should not be put into hot environments”. How hot is “hot”?

Please do not place the IBBQ-4T thermometer itself in the oven.
The safe temperature it can withstand is 0~55C; the optimum temperature is 20~35C.
Also, please note that it cannot come into direct contact with fire sources.
