I used to talk about how to make a mulled wine in this Share&Tips section, and recently I think I fall in love with another one - Mead.
Also, I search and include some points to things easier.
Prepare the mead-making kits in advance at the very first.
How to Make Mead
- Sanitize the equipment.
- Heat the water. In our brew pot, heat 2.5 Gallons of water to 170°F, read the temperature with an instant-read thermometer will be a great help.
- Add the honey.
- Add Sulfites.
- Take a temperature reading. The brewing pot should be around 140°F to 150°F.
- Add 3 gallons of cool water to your sanitized plastic fermenter.
- Add certain additives at last.
