Can I use one unit ITC308 to control both Heating/cooling?

I have a cool greenhouse that is set to cool at 78°F. I want also to heat when it reach 45°F. Is there a way to do this with one unit or do I need two?

Hello,
May I know if you want the same heating and cooling shutoff values?
Because ITC-308 can only set one target temperature, which is the shutoff value for heating and cooling.

This is really unfortunate. It’s got to be a simple programming thing (for someone that can program) lol. The app is just taking data from the thermal sensor and then telling the heating or cooling outlet to turn on or off.

This would be so much more user friendly if there was also an option to have two set points. A lower and an upper, each with the row tolerance and range.

For example a lower set point of 10c. A heating window of (0-15 degrees). So you set it for 2 degreees, it senses the set point of 10 and turns the heater on until it senses 12 and turns it off.

The same idea for an upper limit for cooling.

This would be ideal for greenhouse operation. It would allow a minimal night time temperature but at the same time not try to maintain the set point everytime the heater comes on. Similarly during the day it would heat up to say 30 and the cooling fan could keep it within a few degrees of this rather than trying to dump the heat to the point and exhausting all that heat and potential thermal storage.

I really find it disappointing that this doesn’t seem to exist as it would likely be beneficial to many people and really shouldn’t be hard for INKBIRD to program into the software.

Hello,
Since different models have different features, if you want to set two target temperatures, please consider the ITC-312.
