Iv just purchased the INT-14-BW, and was excited to use it to smoke a brisket, the problem being there is ambient no temperature alarm which is very important for the process. Is it something that might be added soon? Or is it worth returning while i still have time.

This has been an issue since 2024.
The probes are already reporting the ambient temperature data to the base station and in turn, to the App.
The change required is a simple update to send app notifications/alarms when the App receives specific ambient temperature information (Ie; x degrees below desired temp). It shouldn’t be taking this long to implement.
Still waiting for this. Just bought a new INT-14 BW, seeing in the product listing that the probes measure both internal food temperature and the external ambient temperature, but now that the shipment has arrived and I pair it to the Inkbird app, there is STILL no way for the app to provide an alert for deviating from the ambient temperature target I want to set. The app can see the ambient temperature being sent by the probe, so it would be no trouble for the devs to add the ambient sensor info to the target/alert system. If they don’t do so, I’ll need to return this product and find something that’s actually useful for long smokes/bbqs
