Bought this new about a year ago and just go around to using it. After several failed attempts at pairing up my thermometer to the app I got my son involved who informed me that I run on 5g and not 2.4. Is there an easy fix or am I just stuck with a hundred dollar inkbird paper weight? Ibbq 4 is the model that I have. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry the IBBQ-4T only supports 2.4GHz wifi.
Maybe you could check if your router can transmit 2.4GHz wifi?
This is because some routers can transmit 5GHz wifi and 2.4GHz wifi separately.
