IIC-800 WiFi Tuya Smart Life/Home Assistant integration

I need to integrate IIC-800 WiFi with my existing smart home infrastructure based on Tuya and Home Assistant. Is it possible?

Hello,
Sorry, it does not have this feature currently.
I will send it to the engineers as a suggestion.

Hello,
Sorry, IIC-800-WIFI supports connecting to home assistant to achieve limited functions.
If you want to implement more settings, we recommend completing it through the INKBIRD app.

Hello,

please kindly provide a way to interact on the local network directly (API) to at least see the “status” and sent “on” or “off” commands to each channel.

Would love this. …

Hello. Why is it not possible to make the integration? Or open source the API so that the community can make the integration please? Many people are asking for this.

It’s been two years since you posted your message. Is there still a chance for us to get the integration for Sprinklers Controllers (IIC-800 and IIC-600) for Home Assistant?

I understand the interest in API functionality.
However, following comprehensive consideration by the relevant departments, they wish to focus more intently on delivering value through the core features of the product itself at this stage. Consequently, there are currently no plans to release this functionality.
If any related plans arise in the future, I will inform you at the earliest opportunity.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

It is really not that hard. All you would need to do is allow the products to be added to the Smart Life app or provide a process to get the local keys.

If they don’t want to release the API, then perhaps the relevant departments can deliver an app that can take full advantage of the device they have developed? I use the inkbird irrigation app daily, and out of many different apps I use, it is one of the worst. I won’t list all the issues with the app in this post but can confidently say it’s well into the double digits.

If the device was compatible with Home Assistant and marketed as so, I have no doubt the sales of the product would skyrocket. Inkbird really need to get with the times and start listening to what the people want. The irrigation controller does what it says it will do, in the most frustrating roundabout kind of way. Home Assistant could make this so so product into a fantastic one if you guys allowed it.
