Hi,
I have bought the IIC-800-WIFI for an orchard. I have 7 Hunter valves connected to it. The controller is located in the middle of the farm at about 100m distance from the inverter that manages the irrigation. Is there any limitation with the IIC-800-WIFI ?
Thanks
Milou
Not sure what you’re referring to as the “Inverter”. For the purpose of my response I will assume you are referring to InkBird Controller.
In short, trial and error will soon tell you. Test it with a real of cable and a solenoid. If you can measure the voltage at the Solenoid in the ON condition and confirm it is within spec for the solenoid. If YES all should be good. Then install cable as required.
Select a good irrigation cable fit for purpose.
I have a run of 70 meters with 0.18 AMP holding current Solenoid.
I hope my response helps.
