I have just bought a brand new ICC 500-T, put it outside to check at ambient levels, and it seems to give me a 257ppm reading. tried several ports, restarting,… What do I do? It is freezing outside, but should that influence the sensor?
Hello,
Please understand that the ICC-500T probe cannot be placed in an outdoor environment below 0C/32F. Please make sure that the probe is kept dry and the white sticker on the probe is intact.
Maybe you could put it in a ventilated and unmanned room and extend the test time, will its reading tend to be correct?
Thank you for the response, I tested it again in a warmer environment yesterday and it looks pretty good now!
