My husband just fell in love with cigars, not can be counted as an enthusiast, but we met a problem to store the cigars since improper storage can lead to expiration.
Investing in a quality humidor is too expensive, and not now affordable for us so far.
To find a reliable and cheaper way to make them fresh after looking through some blogs and forums, we keep them in a Ziploc bag in a dark and cool place and put a thermo-hygrometer in. I know it’s not professional to do this, but we would like to have a try first.
It seems to work well in this simple way, we check the temperature and humidity are proper frequently, and it’s convenient to see all the data on the phone. So we are thinking to get another WIFI temp/RH gauge or a Bluetooth one.
Good work, INKBIRD.
