Community access via a documented API is a good sign of a strong product that is engaged with its user base.
In the event a documented API isn’t provided you will find many 3rd party activities to reverse engineer the API so this API cannot be considered a trade secret.
The Inkbird value proposition is in the good quality hardware you manufacture. Keeping the API hidden just says Inkbird doesn’t support its users.
What is stopping Inkbird from releasing the details of the API?
