# Why is 1 probe different than the other 3 probes

Just got BBQ GO IBT-4XS with 4 probes  
one of the probes looks different than the other 3. Does it have different purpose?

Hello,  
It’s an ambient probe. You can use it with a clip and attach it to the grill, and it can be used to measure oven temperature.
