# New inkbird temp controller won’t turn on

Hi.

I’m trying to set up my ISC-027 BW.

When I plug it in the status light is red and the wifi is flashing.

The action button beeps when pressed but it won’t turn the unit on or put it into pairing mode.

I cannot connect it to the wifi or my phone via Bluetooth.

Have I got a defective unit?

Hello,  
Please insert the temperature probe and set the time function. Otherwise the fan will not work.
