# My IBS-TH2 does not have a button and is not listed as a device on the App, and I cannot get it to pair with my phone

My IBS-TH2 does not have a button and is also not listed as a device on the App.

I cannot get it to pair with my phone. Do I need to upgrade to a newer device?

Hello,  
If you are using the INKBIRD app, please select the IBS-THS model to add. Please note that it is not the IBS-TH3.  
Please ensure that the Bluetooth and location functions of the phone are on and that the phone is not connected to another Bluetooth device. When pairing, please place the phone next to the IBS-TH2.
