# ITH-20R-O - Is it possible to add an external temp sensor?

I bought the IBS-M2S wifi gateway & 3x IBS-TH20R-O as a package on Amazon. All three sensors are up and running and viewable on the Inkbird app.

A youtube video I viewed showed an external wired temperature sensor attached and working in tandem with the IBS-TH20R as a temp/humidity viewer. External & Internal temperature readings were displayed on the viewer.

Is is possible for me to connect a wired temperature sensor to my IBS-TH20R-O and get two temperature (external & internal) readings on the Inkbird app?

Hello,  
If the ITH-20R-O is connected to an external temperature probe, the IBS-M2S will display the ITH-20R-O’s internal and external probe readings.  
However, please note that ITH-20R-O only supports original external probes, it does not support external probes from other brands.
