# ITC-308 wifi starting cooling cycle too early

Hello everyone,
I have set 26.5 degree celcius as required temperature and cooling difference is 1.0 degree celcius but cooling start as soon as it hit 26.5 or above. Shouldn’t it wait until 27.5 or above?

Hello,
Please understand that ITC-308-WIFI has a special temperature mode. Please let ITC-308-WIFI run for 2-3 cycles after the setup is completed. During this period, please do not perform any operations.

Hello, thank you for the comprehensive reply, this is exactly what I was looking for… Are you able to confirm if when setting up automation on the app, will the above issue occur each time? For example;
Day time SV: 25°C
Night time SV: 20°C
As the parameters change every 12 hours, will this automatically put the unit into special temperature mode every 12 hours, or is special temperature mode ONLY activated when _user_ amendments occur?

If the target temperature changes, it will be considered as a change of setting and will trigger the special temperature mode.
