Hello,
I don’t understand how to programm the following zones for sequential progression.
I would like for example this case:
Zone 1 : start 6PM, duration 20minutes
Zone 2, duration 15 minutes just after zone 1

How to configure zone 2 in that case ?

Hello,
Please set the start time for zone 2 to 6:20 pm and the irrigation duration to 15 minutes.
Please refer to this article:

To add to instruction provided I offer the following:-
If you set all Zones to same start time of 6pm Zone 1 would start and run for the select watering time. Zone 2 would start straight after Zone 1 watering time ends. Zone 3 etc, Zone 4 etc so onto last Zone.

For a give time it will complete all Zones in sequence before moving to the next scheduled time.
To emphasis the point if we change say Zone 3 to start at 6:20pm then Zone 3 will activate only when the last Zone set for 6pm is completed watering. Hope this helps!

Thanks for this information. This is the exactly the information I was looking at. On top this I have a question if we are using the water pump as water source when the the switch over happens from zone 1 to zone 2 meanwhile water pump will be running will there don’t be any risk of water pressure breaking the irrigation pipes.

I would suggest that it should not be a problems as the switching is very quick if the Zone times are set for immediate sequential operation.
It is also with understanding that the Water Pump is being operated / controlled by the Inkbird Controller MC Motor Control output.
You could add a pressure switch into the MC circuit if you want additional protection.

I hope the helps!

Thanks for the quick response. Exactly worked how you described it switchs so fast the pump water pressure won’t be an issue. Yes am using contoller along with pump start relay to switch ON/OFF the pump. With all the connection contoller is able to switch ON the pump but not able to switch OFF the motor after the schedule is complete. I am trying to make the connection changes this weekend to see how to switch OFF the pump. If you have some inputs or tricks to solve this pls do let me know. Thanks again for the response.

Double Check that there are no other Zone run times set that would cause the relay to stay on causing the pump to stay on. (There must be!!!)
Suggest to aid diagnosis place a small 24 volt filiment globe connected to MC and COM. This will allow you to ensure that the InkBird is operating as expected. It will also increase slightly the current through the semi conductor device that does the switching inside the controller.
Check that the relay is not a self latching Relay?
I feel that there is something that you have missed that is causing your problem! Cheers

Thanks. Am sure that it’s something to do with connection of Pump start relay to pump.

I have just seen your photo of the “complex” watering system. The green wires from Inkbird controller M&C go to operate the “pump start relay”(swinging in the breeze). The black wires take power from what looks like push buttons and applies power to what looks like a “Contactor”.
Now this may be the problem a “Contactor” typically operates with “Green Botton” latches it ON and the “Red Button” latches it OFF. I am guessing that the pump relay is simulating the “green button” latch on function. If I am right then nothing is latching it OFF but the pump relay is in fact turning off at the end of the watering cycle.
You need to get an electrician involved! Or provide details on the “Contractor”?? Place a 24 VAC torch globe across the M&C Controller and it will help you understand what is happening! Cheers
Let me know if this helps.
