# How to change the transmit channel on the INKBIRD IBS-P02R Pool Thermometer

Hi, how do you change the transmit channel on the INKBIRD IBS-P02R Pool Thermometer, as mine keeps disconnecting intermittently after setting up gateway and sensor properly. I only have the 1 sensor and it defaults to channel 1 every time I remove and re-add it as a sub-device in the app.

Hello,  
The channels are added sequentially.  
If you only have 1 sensor, it will be recognized and added to channel 1. The order of the channels does not affect the connection function.
