# Can the ISC-027BW be used as thermometer only?

Can the ISC-027BW be used as thermometer without using the fan? Because sometimes I just want to measure the core temperature of my meat, without using the controller.

Hello,  
When the ISC-027BW is inserted into the probe and no time is set, it will only read the probe reading without turning on the fan.
