Hello,
The IBT-2X probe can withstand a temperature range of 0~250°C /32~482°F, but please note that it cannot directly touch the fire sources. The probe wire is not waterproof. It is possible to use it if it is within the limits.
In addition, the temperature range that the body of IBT-2X can withstand is 0~55C for safety; 20~35C for optimum temperature, it cannot be placed in a high temperature environment.
