# Battery won’t hold charge on my Inkbird IBBQ-4T

Battery won’t hold charge on my Inkbird IBBQ-4T. I can only use it plugged into a cable connected to a 5v-1amp power adapter. It will hold a charge less than half an hour

Hello,  
Is it possible to change the type-c USB cable and use the computer to charge for 1~2 hours, can it be charged?  
If it doesn’t work, please press and hold the on/off button of thermometer for 30 seconds, it will reset the device. Can it work?
