# Automation setup questions

I have set up a ‘house’ on my iPhone app. I just purchased an IIc-600-wifi controller.

I set up an automation under “smart” on the app. In my case, I wanted to change the state of the rain sensor sitch based on the local weather.

- Do my phone and the InkBird app need to be opened to make this automation run?
- Is there a web-based application that shows the automation?

Sorry, the app currently does not support this feature. Please use the original function of IIC-600-WIFI.
